Dear Steve,
It has been a few months since the completion of our bathroom renovations and we are writing to express our complete satisfaction with this project. Overall, we were very impressed with everything. At our initial meetings, you suggested we think about the plans before going forward to be sure the changes would adapt to our lifestyle. This was great advice because things that we initially thought we might like ended up as daily annoyances. Also, you gave us options at all price ranges and explained the positive and negatives of those options, without ever forcing your opinion on us in order to make a higher profit.
Of course, once we made a decision to go forward, the most remarkable thing was how well you timed the work. We told you we would be away for a week and you managed to coordinate all the necessary workers to almost fully complete the project in that short time. It is truly incredible that the entire room had to be gutted, and yet, within six days, we had tiled floors, walls, all plumbing in place, and a room that was 90% usable. This was truly a remarkable feat of coordination and certainly one we could not have done had we contracted the work on our own.
As you know, we did have one problem with the supplier of a major part of the project. What made your work outstanding was that you did not waste time blaming others or making excuses, but immediately came to us with the problem and set about to correct the situation, giving us several options to review.
Also, we need to commend you on the crew you hired to do our work. Each worker we met was a true professional that obviously took great pride in his individual craft. By waiting several months to write to you, we have had time to really examine the project and appreciate the high quality of work that was done. Of course, having you personally check on the project on an almost daily basis certainly insured that the work would be done as we wanted.
We will certainly look to Morrison’s the next time we need to do a renovation project.

Where do we start? When another local contractor was hired by us to finish our upstairs and he left us in a dangerous situation, we're so happy that Morrison's was there to help! You and your company taught us so much including pulling permits for work. It's great that you know the correct, not to mention legal avenues that must be done when construction is being done.
The work your team needed to do including ripping apart portions of the completed work to view the dangerous and not-to-code wiring, plumbing and construction was amazing.
In the end, thanks to you, it all worked out and we now feel safe in our beautiful bedroom & bathroom.
I know people say that bad contractors give all contractors a bad name. Let us tell you, with Morrison's Home Improvement, that is not the case. You're professional, knowledge and the workmanship is the one of the best! We have, and will continue to tell those looking for a contractor that your company should be it.
Thanks Steve - and you know the worst part... the quote you gave us initially was only a couple of thousand dollars more than the original contractor who did the work. If we only knew then what we know now... we wish we had just hired you in the beginning.

Dear Mr. Morrison,
I want to thank you for a great job well done. I chose
Morrison's to do my residing work because I knew my
historic 1817 home needed extensive work both inside
and out, and I learned through your advertising and word
of mouth that you "do it all", so I chose your company for
the work. You have been very understanding about my
retirement income limitations, and have bent over back-
wards to get the jobs, which included replacing 32 windows
and 4 entry doors, completed somewhere in the dollar range
we had originally discussed, despite several unexpected
repair jobs that arose as the work progressed. Some of the
extra work needed was quite extensive, including having to
plywood the garage roof and garage wallsbefore the siding
and roofing work could continue due to the problem with dry
rot. These two jobs were not part of the original estimate,
yet you worked with me to get the jobs done without causing
financial hardship to me.
The front porch entryway and porch look great, as does
the rear den window wall, which all had to be totally redone
due to the dry rot that was discovered there, too. The
breezeway, basement door and the garage doors all look
wonderful, too!

In October 2006 we began our consumer independent research on replacing our 30 year old roof and windows in our home. we interviewed contractors on the products and estimates of these replacements. We spoke to people who had home improvement work done by Morrison's and he came highly recommended. We chose Steve Morrison (Morrison's Home Improvement) for the job.
Our roof replacement took some twist and turns, but the workmanship and detailed work was completed with customer satisfaction.
We chose Kensington's Quantum2 high tech windows. The installation by Ray (the window encyclopedia man) and Chris ( the excellent carpenter) was excellent.
We appreciated the planning time, meeting and phone conversations we had with Steve to complete these two major jobs in our home. Now that my windows and doors are in, I must tell you how very thankful I am that I found you! The day I walked into your office, my plan was to investigate this undertaking and I had no idea then that you would be the one I turned to.
After checking with my son in Colorado who is a contractor about the kind of windows you install, I felt totally comfortable in hiring you. Little did I know what you bring to the job. My first clue was that when you called to set up a meeting, you actually came at the time you said you would! Then, as the job progressed, you never failed to let me know just when to expect your excellent workers who also showed up at the appointed hour. You even started the job before our contract date and finished it just as speedily!

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is our second experience with this company. We had a large home in Lenox fully sided about 7 years ago, so when I moved into an older home and the windows were a problem, we decided to have them replaced. Our first quote was from an outfit from out of town and the price was beyond what I could afford.
I called Steve on a Saturday and he immediately came to my rescue. With his prices, I was able to have all my windows replaced as well as new bay windows for living and dining room. They were delivered about a month later in mid-February by an expert crew who had everything installed in 3 days. They were very neat and polite I hardly knew they were on the premises.
We also have new storm doors front and back and new shutters on the new bays an afterthought when the guys realized my old shutters were too short. It was again a remarkable job and really added to the value of my home. It was a pleasure and a thrill to do business with Morrison’s Home Improvement Specialist. They always give me the “red carpet treatment.”

EVERYONE WAS A WINNER ON THIS JOB!
Dear Steve,
When we first discussed undertaking an exterior renovation of our home, we had several reservations about the colors we wanted, and how they would appear on the finished house, the treatment of the entry door to the cellar, and the steps leading to the front door. You were most reassuring in explaining how these items would be dealt with individually and coordinated to our satisfaction.
You also stated that until the original siding was stripped from the house, we should make no final decisions: and that any changes we chose to make along the way you would gladly do.
Your enthusiasm and your candid honest answers to our questions gave us the courage to undertake the change, a miraculous change as it turned out, since the “new house” took second prize in a nationwide contest sponsored by Wolverine Siding Products. We are delighted and as thrilled as you must be.
The award was well deserved in every sense. The men you sent in to work as carpenters were truly artists. The new front stairs attest to this. The crew that resided the house, led by Marc, were master craftsmen. You and they demand perfection and achieved it; the final work is there for everyone to see. They carted away everything each day so that the house and surroundings never appeared less than neat.
The final touch that separated the appearance of our house from any other was your advice on siding the dormers and replacing the front windows under the porch. We could not be more pleased with the results, and are looking forward to doing the roof this spring with a color that will compliment its present beauty.
