Dear Steve, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your Staff for the WONDERFUL work you did on my home. Replacing all the windows and adding siding. We have received many positive comments from neighbors and friends. This being a huge investment, and given the shaky economy status, we were skeptical to say the least. However you promptly put our fear to Rest with your presentation. Once the project began, we enjoyed seeing Everything fall into place. The workers you had here were top notch. They were consistently polite and courteous at all times. They constantly kept us informed. Their craftsmanship was unbelievable....Many thanks. I would be remiss if I failed to mention Butch and Jerry. These gentlemen are True professionals in every sense of the word. There was no waste of materials And there was no mess for us to deal with. We certainly have a great deal of Respect for these very honest, hard working gentlemen. Lastly, I want you to know that I would recommend your Company and your Team to anyone at anytime and look forward to dealing with you again.
Sincerely,
Luke Beckwith

Dear Steve,
I wrote to you back in January to describe how pleased I was with the Kensington Quantum2 Windows that were installed in the house last summer. We have noticed more even heating throughout the two levels and there are no longer “cold” areas as you approach the windows. The sun porch had the most significant improvement in heat retention and we were able to lower the thermostat and still maintain a comfortable, even temperature throughout that room.
At that time I thought we had saved on our oil usage, but with the dramatic increases in pricing it was difficult to determine that from the checks I sent to the oil company. Last week I had the chance to call the oil supplier and was able to get the actual gallons used for the last three years.
I was surprised to find that we used 400 gallons less oil during the last year than the average usage of the 3 prior years. That is a decrease of 40% from the 3 year average usage. This is a conservative savings number because the oil tank is full now going into the summer season because of a delivery just last week that I included in the total for this year’s usage.
We had replaced double glazed, 19 year old Marvin wood windows that were in good condition so I was not expecting a large improvement in efficiency. We expected the main improvement would be improved comfort level and more even heat distribution. Now I know that we got both efficiency gains and improved comfort.
The 400 gallon savings is quite large in gallons and represents a savings of almost $1,600 a year at the latest oil pricing of $3.99 per gallon. The timing for this improvement could not have been better and the payoff will be much quicker than we had originally estimated.
Thanks for your part in recommending this great product and for the expert installation services that came along with the windows.
Sincerely,
John Schulte |

Dear Steve,
I wanted to let you know how pleased Marsha and I are with the new windows installed this summer in our home in Dalton. The cold weather would be the real test and now that we have seen below 0 temperatures I can report that there is a significant difference in the comfort level through out the house. The heat is more evenly distributed and the cold areas in front of the windows are no more. It is quite amazing to stand in front of the large windows in the sun porch and no longer feel cold air, the glass is warm to the touch from the radiators that sit below them and the new windows keep the cold out. Rooms come up to temperature more quickly in the morning and the heating system easily keeps up even on days that registered 11 degrees below in the morning.
The window project is the fifth time you have done work at our house. New vinyl siding, two sliders were replaced, a new front door and sidelites, a beautiful front porch and now the windows, all over a 10 year time period. Each project was done to the highest standards and we have had no issues with any of the work after completion. Why do we keep coming back?
We like your direct and honest approach to business. Each project had it's surprises, hard to avoid when you are taking things apart and ordering new components. But in every case you made adjustments and completed the work to our expectations.
We have found each and every crew that came to do the work performed the jobs as if it was their own home. Clever solutions to things like trimming out new windows or fixing the rot that was found when we replaced a sliding door are typical of what we experienced. Your people war what bring us back for another job although you are charming and likeable on your own merits. But in reality you make promises to customers that your crews have to deliver on and in each job Morrison's Home Improvement has done for us your talented people have delivered beyond expectation.
We will have more projects in the future and Morrison's will be our first stop to talk them over and start to plan to get them accomplished. Marsha and I wish you, the business and all your talented employees a great New Year 2008 and continued success for the team you have put together at Morrison's.
Sincerely, John Schulte

Dear Steve Morrison & Crew,
I don't know what to say other than THANK YOU.
Seven years ago I had siding put onto my house by another contractor who lets just say didn't care about the quality of his work. The job was at best substandard. Siding started falling off my house almost as soon as they finished. He took my money and ran.
It took me years to be able to afford to try again, not to mention being able to put my trust in contractors again. I contacted you. You came to my house and made me feel at ease. You assured me that you would take the time and effort to do the job RIGHT, and that my home was not only important to me but important to you as well.
Now my home is finished and looks GREAT!!! I have a beautiful new roof, siding, doors and shutters. It looks 150% better than before and I couldn't be happier!!!
Thank you Steve for such an amazing job. I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.
Sincerely, Donna Parker |

Dear Steve:
Just wanted let you, and everyone else, know about the tremendous saving my new windows have had on my utility bills. I have had the new windows for about 4 years now and my gas bill has reduced by approximately 50%. I attribute this ti my new windows - they really do save money.
When I decided to take the plunge I obtained several quotes - some which were lower, however, your company was the only one which could actually demonstrate how the windows worked through the set-up in your showroom. I was very impressed! The installation was completed quickly with a minimum of disruption to my household - and there wasn't any clean -up for me to deal with.
Then, when we had a severe windstorm and the siding became loose on my home I was worried that it was going to be ripped off completely - I called your office and someone was at my home within 30 minutes to secure the siding, thus saving the day! Now where can you find service like that - AT MORRISONS.
Thank you so much - keep up the good work - its very comforting to know there is a company out there for you when you need them. If you need any recommendations I would be happy to oblige.
Sincerely, Vivien M Carrington |

Dear Steve,
It's been a year since Morrison's installed all new windows in my home, and I'm writing to let you know what a difference they've made. My home is now dramatically more comfortable and evenly warm without drafty areas during the winter. And in the summer, it's also much cooler throughout the house.
As a homeowner in my 90's, I certainly appreciate this new comfort level, but I'm even more delighted that my heating costs have been cut almost in half. When I received notice of the new accessed budget payment for gas heat, I felt sure it was a mistake. How could it be so low? It was no mistake......it was my new windows keeping my heat in. Efficient windows have already saved me money, made me more comfortable and increased the value of my home. Operating the windows and washing them has been super easy, too.
Thank you, Steve, for making all this possible. You and your employees have been prompt, efficient and easy to deal with. I'm glad I called Morrison's! I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
Sincerely, Rosella McGee |

Dear Steve,
I wanted to let you know that we are seeing an improvement in the warmth of our house with the new windows your company put in. The draft I used to feel sitting on the couch by the window is gone, and the rooms seem to hold their heat longer. This is a wonderful thing when you live in the Berkshires!
I also appreciated the help I got to remove the sticky labels after the inspector came. one set of labels came right off, but the other type of label was very difficult to remove. Two of your guys came over and took them off - it was a wonderful help.
Sincerely, Raya Buckley Pittsfield MA

Dear Steve and Crew:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the installation of our new windows. I was disappointed in the beginning with the lack of communication regarding my old windows, however, I am extremely happy with the new ones.
The crew who installed the windows did an exceptional job. They left no mess and all I had to do was re-hang my curtains.
Currently, we heat with wood. As you are aware, we have a split level home and the wood stove is located downstairs. As we are usually gone from home 12 to 14 hours a day, the wood stove is pretty much out by the time we get home. In the real cold and windy days of winter, the upstairs temperature would drop to the high fifties. I would usually set my alarm to get up during the night to stoke the fire.
We have had some pretty cold and windy days since the new windows were installed and upon arriving home, the temperature in the upstairs has been no lower than 64 degrees. Now, at times, it get so hot in the house that I need to open a window to cool things off. I would much rather be too hot and need to open a window, then to be too cold and not be able to get warm. And I haven't once had to stoke the fire during the night.
The biggest change is the attached apartment. The apartment has electric heat and in the past the bill has been very high. My tenant advises me that she has hardly turned on the heat and, when she does, it's usually only in one room. Her bill is about half what it was last year at this time. She is ecstatic with the new windows.
We have a lot to do with the house, but choosing to do windows first was our best investment.
Again, thank you all.
Sincerely, Charlene & Raymond Gero Chipman Road Middlefield MA |

Dear Steve, After I found out that my window company, Sun Tech. was out of business, I held my breath that someone in Massachusetts would carry Quantum2 windows. Never did I dream I'd be so lucky to find a businessman who was not only willing to make the two and one half hour trip to Newton but finished the project in a timely manner.
The men who showed up at 7:30 a.m. on the appointed morning to replace my 1923 windows couldn't have been nicer. They were efficient, careful of each room's belongings, and cleaned up magnificently. The camaraderie amongst the workers and respect shown to the homeowner was stellar.
A thank you, Steve, seem insufficient. I plan to spread the word to my friends that Morrison Home Improvement is a five star company that they must consider when doing remodeling projects.
It has been a pleasure from beginning to end. Steve, and I'm most grateful for your personal service.
From a happy customer, Penelope Benjamin

Dear Steve, Congratulations to you and your staff on the sucessful completion of our home renovation project. The new kitchen, vinyl windows, siding, doors and nichiha on our chimneys have enhanced our home appearance 1000%. We are looking forward to saving 49% on our heating bills.
We read many testimonials of your previous customers and must admit we were a bit skeptical. However, we must say we were more that pleasantly surprised with the excellent manner in which all your employees performed. They all had one thing in common: Customer satisfaction!
Although everyone did their best doing various assignments, we would be remiss if we did not bring to your attention the excellent work Mark did on our kitchen. He want above and beyond our expectations to ensure that every phase of the renovation resulted in nothing less than outstanding workmanship.
We, of course, cannot forget you. You always checked in with us at least once a week to make sure we were happy. You responded to all our concerns promptly.
Thanks, Steve, for making our project so pleasant. Please convey to all your employees who participated making our dream come true our sincere thanks for a job WELL DONE!
Sincerely, Tom & Gail Tighe
